MVCC Prayer Ministry

Purpose

To become “A House of Prayer for all Nations” (Isaiah 56:7) by fostering a dependence on Christ (John 15:5) through prayer by praying:

  • In the Spirit (Eph 6:18)
  • Without Ceasing (1 Thes. 5:17)
  • And With Confidence (1 John 5:14-15)     
  •   

Participation

Come and be a part of our prayer ministry. There are a variety of opportunities for anyone at church and in our community to participate.

Such opportunities include:

  • Post Service Prayer for any persons needs
  • Adult Education classes focusing on prayer
  • Men’s and Women’s Prayer Cells
  • Prayer Chain
  • Weekly Intercessory Prayer for the needs of the body
  • Bi-monthly Concerts of Prayer
  • “See You At the Pole” at the public schools
  • National Day of Prayer
  • “TeamROCK” - adults praying for the youth by name
