Home Groups
Companions - you do not walk alone
The purpose of our Home Groups is, in essence, to "do life together." The journey is difficult, especially when attempted alone; but traveling alone was never God's intent. God created us to live lovingly, respectfully and truthfully in community with others.At Mountain View, we hope to build a community where people are loved, where people can hurt and fail, where people can go through hard times and still be accepted. Accepted not because they are perfect, not even because they are all that good, but simply because they are forgiven and have a deep understanding of the reality of God's grace.
The purpose of the MVCC Home Group ministry is to:
- Bring seekers to faith in Christ (WIN)
- Care for believers in love (CARE)
- Build believers to maturity, and (BUILD)
- Equip believers for ministry, (EQUIP)
Our Home Groups generally consist of four to six families. Some groups meet weekly, others meet bi-weekly, depending on the needs and desires of the group. But all seek to "do life together" and see the love of Christ make an impact on their lives and neighborhoods.
