Guy and his wife, Lorrie, were married in 1986 and and have six daughters, one son and one grandson. Lorrie is a 1981 graduate of Miami of Ohio University with a B.A. in Sociology and is also a 1983 graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary with a Masters in Biblical Studies.
Before moving to Maryland to begin Mountain View Community Church, Guy served as associate pastor of evangelism and discipleship at Harmony Bible Church in Danville, IA from 1990-1997. Prior to attending Dallas Seminary from 1986-1990, Guy served as a campus minister at Temple University from 1982-1986.
Guy’s hobbies include hiking, reading, coaching his kid’s sports teams, and following the NY Yankees, NY Giants, and Temple Owls Football and Basketball.
